error 'insufficient disk space' while there's plenty of space

I'm having this exact problem. Plenty of HD free space. But all the time getting the "Insufficent disk space" message. I'm currently clicking on Force Download all the time until it finishes downloading.

I'm using uTorrent 3.3.1, and I have "sparse files" turned off.

uTorrent uses the torrent payload size to determine space requirements NOT what you have selected.

If that isn't the case you need to provide some information that doesn't require us to guess what the problem is.
