DeepBlue22
Hi there, let us assume, there is a torrent with 20 Seeds and 200 peers."Maximum number of connected peers per torrent" is set to 50. Now µTorrent connects to 2 seeds and 48 peers. => Seeds: 2 (20) Peers: 48 (200)Is there a way to connect to seeds first? I mean if µTorrent is connecting to the peers too fast, there is no more left to connect to the other seeds due to the "Maximum number of connected peers per torrent".Thanks. DreadWingKnight
Connecting to seeds first does NOT give you better speeds. They have no incentive whatsoever to upload to you.
Switeck
By the nature of the BitTorrent protocol, seeds are supposed to be a LAST resort for downloading...when peers aren't available or don't have the parts you need or don't upload to you in a timely manner.
