mahcuz
Yes, I know that's what it's supposed to do. What I'm asking is: is there a way to update the location of the .torrent for uTorrent?Cheers.
DreadWingKnight
You can't relocate the .torrent files for loaded tasks. The downloaded files, yes. But you need to stop the torrent and set the download location from the right-click menu.
thelittlefire
Liar. You can manually change the path of the loaded .TORRENT outside of uTorrent. You MUST use a capable editor however... I'd recommend http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306You need to change the path to the .TORRENT files right below [ROOT].
DreadWingKnight
ok, so you can't do it CLEANLY.Your method is an advanced user method.Given the size of .torrent files, there's no reason to move the .torrent files around.
thelittlefire
I understand that. However you were not completely truthful I only wished to correct that information. I agree there is no need for moving either, but sometimes @#*& happens. and your 200 MiB torrent storage directory needs to be repaired/cleaned/moved. mahcuz
Ok, so maybe I lied; it was the downloaded files that i was seeding for others that I moved which then caused an error. I'm dumb, I know. Thanks for the info, ma' man(s)!
