I mean, is it because that portion of the code has not extensively been tested? What's the matter? Is sending files to friends that way not recommended because the protocol is not security certified?In other words, should I fear, for security reasons, being connected to my µTorrent tracker by people of dubious ethics? DreadWingKnight Posted August 27, 2008 Report Share Posted August 27, 2008 There are no restrictions whatsoever on what gets tracked by it.Additionally, there isn't really any way to control who uses your tracker.Basically, you're potentially opening yourself to a DDoS attack if you run using the embedded tracker.
