Arkantos
hello!i recently got myself a second computer and a second internet connection.and i have installed utorrent on that too.both my computers are on the same LAN, but the "default gateway"s are different.now my question is:can i download the same torrent on both the computers, with one utorrent installation acting as the master and the other one acting as the slave, so the particular torrent completes and seeds faster, utilising both the connections?thanx,Ark! DreadWingKnight
Enable local peer discovery and make sure the two start their torrents VERY close to each other timing-wise.
Switeck
Private torrents may be much harder to get the 2 computers to "find" each other. You can "Add Peer" by right-clicking in the peers window and add each computer's LAN ip address+port such as:192.168.1.151:37038...And uTorrent should attempt those ips.
