espizh
Hello! I'm on Windows XP and I have a weird problem. It takes forever to open a website once i've opened utorrent. Utorrent downloads well, though. What could be the matter? Thank you very much for your help.

espizh
I'm sorry, here it is.INFORMATION WE MIGHT NEED IF NOTHING ELSE HELPS * * Color of the network status light in µTorrent's status bar (THE PORTS ARE OPEN AND UTORRENT WORKS FINE, ITS THE WEB BROWSING THAT'S SLOW. THE ICON IS GREEN) * What the port checker from the Speed Guide writes (OK! Port 13639 is open and accepting connections.) * What the Speed Guide shows your settings to be (press Ctrl+G in µTorrent) (CONNECTIONS PER TORRENT 500 - MAXIMUM GLOBAL CONNECTION 3000 - MAX ALLOWED DOWNLOADS AT THE SAME TIME 100) * What you have net.max_halfopen set to (Preferences > Advanced in µTorrent) (8) * Operating system installed (Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, 95, NT? Something else?) XP PRO * Security software installed (firewall, antivirus, antispyware, antiadware) NOD 32 3.0 * Exact router model(s), and exact modem model (LINKSYS WRT52 - AND YES I'VE ALSO READ THAT GUIDE, AND I AM NOW USING DD-WRT SOFTWARE FOR THE MODEM) * ISP (Internet Service Provider) being used - ONO, SPAIN

DreadWingKnight
Set an exception everywhere you can in NOD32 for uTorrent.
espizh
It seems to work a bit smoother now after i've excluded utorrent from NOD32 monitored programs! Though I only have 1 thing downloading. Not sure how it will work when I add a fer more torrents.Thank you very much DreadWingKnight and Switech!Toni
