philip1192
When I try to use µTorrent, I have a LOT of trouble connecting to peers because of my router. I can only forward so many ports, and every peer connects on a different port. How the heck to I make my router allow connections? I have tried port triggering and it ain't working out too well. How do I make it work?
DreadWingKnight
Port Triggering doesn't work. You only need to enter ONE port for forwarding. The listen port defined in your preferences.
philip1192
Then what do I do about all those ports that aren't forwarded that need to be for a good connection with peers? I'm getting really bad download speeds and I have plenty of peers.
Firon
Outgoing connections don't need a forwarded port. The only forwarded port you need is your incoming port, which is for incoming connections only. For everything else, speed-wise, follow the setup guide.
