Error:Access is denied.

This message Error: Access is denied appears in my Status window.

The torrent trys to down load for a couple of minutes. Status says Downloading but then it changes to the above error message. It has been working fine for some time and this has just occurred. I am running utorrent 1.8.1

Access Denied can be caused by media players/library (does it only happen on audio-visual files) or sometimes AV scanners. What AV/security/firewall/browser software do you use. Yahoo Toolbar includes "background" virus scanning functionality... which doesn't always play nice.

It can also be caused by not having correct NTFS permissions on the download folder.
