boo
Well, µTorrents FAQ is very extensive, not simple like FAQ's you read elsewere about
Nefarious
maybe it could be renamed to "Advanced FAQ", i've seen many people that doesn't read the FAQ for the very same reason...
1c3d0g
You should ask Ignorantcow to change it. http://ignorantcow.net/utorrent2/php/
chaosblade
The fact that it might be simple doesnt mean they shouldn't read it where they actually have a question.. Makes sense, doesnt it? I got a question, I'll try the "Frequently Asked Questions" section?
boo
it's just not that they usually have only a few Q&A, but also that people often use the same standard Q&A that doesn't help you at all.
Nefarious
and other people may think "mine isnt a frequent question" so...
Ultima
It doesn't matter what one might think is considered "frequent" or whatever though. You still have to at least try checking, instead of waiting for the answer to be handed to you without any real effort besides typing and clicking for a new post. FAQs are made to be read, just to get all the quick answers out of the way before the "real" questions that require more than a FAQ entry to be answered. By asking in the forums before checking, you're wasting the FAQ maintainers' efforts.
