GreenCanister
I recieved a Trojan Alert from Kaspersky indicating the following:WebTraffic EventApplication: Utorrent.exeDetected: Trojan-Downloader.HTML.Agent.NBObject: http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/error/404.phtmlDoes anyone know how I could have gotten this trojan? Google didn't bring up any good results for me..Anything i should worry about? Kaspersky denited it twice cause it found it twice..This all happened while trying to update to the newest version of Utorrent..Update: I just got 2 more detections for the trojan..I also posted this topic, but wasn't sure if it's related: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=53672Edit: I just wanted to point out that I've used Utorrent for a very long time.. and I have never had a virus alert.. This was after utorrent prompted me today that a new version was available and after i updated Utorrent. then a few minutes later, I get this alert
moogly
uT is 100% safe, it's a false positive especially if you're sure that your torrents are all safe (sometimes bad torrents have viruses).VirusTotal analysis for latest 1.8.2http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/502c7e371060b35dac7dabbfe4e94c49You need to place uT as safe software in Kasp. dtjohnst
Might wanna make sure your KAV is up to date too. I'm running KAV and no false-positives here.
