moogly
You forgot Process Explorer log when uT is running, very useful.Guide: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=29748Dont forget to select utorrent.exe and enable DLL mode (ctrl+d).I think a module of Kaspersky or Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is the culprit. ExpertInTraining
I don't think kaspersky is the problem. I run kaspersky on my other machine and utorrent runs fine. I read in another thread that the wireless adapter that I have has issues with more than 3gigs of RAM and to uninstall the software but keep the drivers. When I uninstalled it it uninstalled the card completely and I got blue screens about a registry error so I had to reformat. I'll try using utorrent again, but I need to know how to uninstall the third party wireless software but keep the drivers.
moogly
You can retrieve the drivers from the manufacturer website and save them locally.

ExpertInTraining
I solved my problem. It appears that the wireless card I have (Edimax EW7128g) doesn't work well with more than 3gigs of RAM. I actually called Edimax, and after talking to a few people who can hardly speak english, I was told to goto edimax.us and get the new driver. I installed the new driver without the software and I still had the same problem until I took out a stick of RAM. Now I have to run on 3gigs until I find a fix for this.
