knownote
In downloading a collection of files I keep getting a failed hash check for one piece of the file, which then bans the IP of the person I'm getting the files from. Unfortunately, that is the ONLY seed for the torrent. Is there anyway to disable the hash check or at least have it just skip this one piece? DreadWingKnight
No and no.The protocol requires the pieces be verified. If that particular peer never gives out the correct piece, they may have something on their system that has corrupted their copy of the file. knownote
Oh well. The torrent includes multiple files that don't require each other to work, so just because one piece is corrupt, then I can't get the other files that are probably just fine.tough luck I guess, it's the only seeder for this set of files.thanks anyway
Switeck
If you know about where the piece is, try setting that file to don't download...you could still get the rest that way.
