Please Help Me.....

I have been searching and reading for two weeks now about this error I keep getting when DLing. I can DL music just fine, no errors, but when it comes to a movie or ..avi file i get the following message...

"The Process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process?"

I have uninstalled my google desktop, shut down my firewalls, antivirus', shut down my google talk, AIM, winamp, basically shut down everything possible so that just uTorrent is running, and I keep getting that message.

I dont know what to do, I have read so much stuff about how to fix it, I have installed Unblocker Assistant and still get the error.

Its wierd tho, because it seems to be only movies or .avi files that I get the error with.

Any ideas???

You can try to disable Roxio services one by one. Execute services.msc.

Well If i just uninstall the entire roxio program and everything that is part of it, it should fix my problem? I dont use it ever, so I can get rid of it.

If you don't use it at all, then yes it is safe to uninstall.

Because the FAQ entry for this error specifically lists roxio as a problem child.

Thats wierd... My uncle is running the same setup on his PC, and he has no problem DLing anything. Never seen the error before I showed it to him...

I had Roxio too and I never got this issue. I think it depends on factory settings of Roxio services and what is pre-installed on your computer.
