haithomy Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 I want to make utorrent portable.1. Create new folder in my external hard disk and name it "uTorrent".2. add uTorrent.exe version 1.8.2 inside the folder.3. Create new text file and save it as "settings.cfg" and add it inside the folder.4. Inside the folder I create 2 folders "Incoming" and "Completed".5. In utorrent Preferences > Directories > Location of Downloaded Files a) Put new downloads in: ".\Incoming". Move completed downloads to: ".\Completed".my problems are:1. when start download the torrent job icon was white arrow with red background color that means the torrent job is seeding but there is a tracker error?2. when exit and start utorrent again the same file status "Error: Files missing from job. Plaese recheck."3. after the download complete the file didn't move to "Completed" folder.
DreadWingKnight Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 3. Create new text file and save it as "settings.cfg" and add it inside the folder.Incorrect. Should be settings.dat

Plaese recheck."3. after the download complete the file didn't move to "Completed" folder.
