DreadWingKnight Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 The connection setup guides still apply.
Switeck Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Use MY speed guide for dial-up...maybe the 56k one isn't too much.Disable:DHT, LPD, Resolve IPs, UPnP, NAT-PMP.Lower bt.connect_speed and net.max_halfopen to 4 or less.
warlordfmike Posted May 21, 2009 Author Report Posted May 21, 2009 switeck im sorry not sure were to find all that iv looked find some but not sure were the other are what i mean is are those setting's in preferences or on the torrent's properties.. also the availability is only around 3.968 but it's at 34.2% could bit-torrent be messed up or is there away to reset all setting's without having to uninstall it sorry if im being a pain.. just new to this..
Switeck Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 You need to read the FAQs, but on your connection that could take awhile...http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/beginners-guidehttp://www.utorrent.com/documentation/http://www.utorrent.com/faq/DHT and LPD (Local Peer Discovery) are next to each other under BitTorrent.UPnP and NAT-PMP are next to each other under Connection.Right-click in PEERS window of an active torrent to disable Resolve IPs.bt.connect_speed and net.max_halfopen are both in advanced settings.
warlordfmike Posted May 26, 2009 Author Report Posted May 26, 2009 it seems to be fixed i will post back if download speed's high & this can be closed
