tao
Hello. That option /true-false/ in advanced options allows to do not download some sellected files by me in a torrent. But in download-dir uTorrent creates .dat file, for example: ~uTorrentPartFile_2BC43B86It's very ugly and annoying to be in my download-directory. It will be nice to has option to select dir when to save that files, to be somewhere, not in directory with my downloads.
Firon
It's required to store the data for the files you skipped (since files share piece boundaries).
tao
Yes, I know it is required, but it will be much better to be automaticaly hidden file, to do not watch it every time, or to be in other destination, like other torrent clients?!!! This is the only thing i don't like in µTorrent !
DreadWingKnight
Selective downloading was never an intended function of the BitTorrent protocol. It doesn't matter how much other clients try to pretty it up, that's the fact of the matter.
