jewelisheaven
ISPs use shaping or throttling of your connection to control how fast/many connections you can basically make. Shaping is only affecting your speeds, whereas throttling usually messes with your connectivity/ability to keep connections to peers.
Sidewinder47
anyway to fix it without seriously slowing my DL speeds
jewelisheaven
If shaw leases their lines from Bell you can't increase your speeds during "peak hours" (4p-2a) due to Bell's shaping of the lines. What version of uT are you using? Have you http://utorrent.com/documentation/connection-setup/ ?How else have you configured uT? Have you changed any Ctrl-P > Advanced options (* means non-default)?
