iKimmy Posted May 29, 2009 Report Posted May 29, 2009 Well so I could forward a port for uTorrent I got a static IP setup, and then once I forwarded it, the port forward checker says that it still isn't forwarded. Anyone know why this is happening?
iKimmy Posted May 30, 2009 Author Report Posted May 30, 2009 Well I don't have an anti-virus or anything, and my firewall it turned off. So there isn't any firewall blocking it.
Switeck Posted May 30, 2009 Report Posted May 30, 2009 By "turned off", you mean uninstalled or the Windows firewall?
Switeck Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 You seem to be on Charter Cable ISP in the USA...so I don't believe your modem or ISP is likely firewalling you. This leaves either your router or computer.
kooldevilishere Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.34.145) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5).This problem is coming from some time before that port is forwarding normally.i have vista x64 OS.pls help me in solving this problem.i dont have even peerguardian or protowall in my PC.is there any email address of any utorrent administrator who can mail me the solution of thisa problem in my email address .I have triend installing Peerguardian or porotowall to solve the problem but they are not installing properly in PeerGuardian there is aproblem of pgfilter.sys which is not found or not running in the PC.please help me in this portforward problem my download speed is less due to this..
DreadWingKnight Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Did the page say to install either of them?NO.Why did you?
iKimmy Posted May 31, 2009 Author Report Posted May 31, 2009 Its probably my router, cause it worked fine on my older router, but since I got a new one, its been saying this, I just don't understand why. Cause its almost exactly the same router except I got a Wireless G MIMO router instead of just the regular Wireless G router, could that be the problem?
DreadWingKnight Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 What static IP did you set? What IP address range does the router give out?
iKimmy Posted June 1, 2009 Author Report Posted June 1, 2009 The last digit is 100and the range i set it up to 99, it said to set a static IP out of the range.
