Hi got all the portforward stuff setup / both / 45628 / 45628 / 45628 then in then dsl but where do i go to type in the IPstatic addy can t remember where on vista HP i think it somewhere on the control panel dang .

Also when i dl from ExtaTorrent i get red icons that are to the left of the torrent name i assume that slows things down a bunch anyway to fix that ! ? thanks a bunch . . .

Right-click on network neighborhood icon on desktop and choose properties...though this may vary slightly between Windows versions. Some you may need to double-click on the network neighborhood and right-click on the network interface you wish to change, then choose properties.

Dang dang i have nothing called network neighborhood on my desktop and search finds nothing with that name on vista home premium hopefully a vista user knows where it is and will get back to me oh well later . . .

Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Sharing center

Click on customize and from then on it's quite obvious. As for the red icons, that means you have a NAT problem or your firewall doesn't allow torrent traffic. http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/connection-setup

Dang dang thats not it nothing is their i do remember posting my IPv4 addy their but so far no luck in remembering where that was grrrrr i ll find it or remember the bloody place soon oh well ; checking the link now to fix my red icon - fingers crossed - thanks . . .
