Why utorrent newer versions doesnt working properly ???

1) I moved Win 7 from XP

2) while Im using XP I set utorrent 1.8.3 proxy settings > localhost>greedytorrent port

It was wrking fine

3) When I moved to Win 7 It doenst anymore But I tried utorrent 1.6.1 with same settings it worked

just fine

4) But I couldnt use 1.6.1 since it restrict the download limit according to the upload limit

Q1) So whats the reason for which ive mentiond on 3)


Q2) Cant I download utorrent older versions like 1.6.2......1.7.2 etc ?????

Plz help me out

But every sec we face the same risk nah?

No im not using utube setup but default as I did in win XP

Downloading torrents wolud make such effect on that I guess

Anyway pal I do not worry on security in this manner

If u guys knw the reason for odds between older and newer version of my pc plz tell me :D

The thing is in win XP it worked so fine even with Utorrent 1.8.3 but now :(

Im using prolink H9601 modem it wrked before :(

I'll try my bets ok ?

1) Im using WIn 7 ultimate architecture 84 32 bit now

2) utorrent version is 1.8.3 bulid 15772

3)Using prolink h9601

4) But I have encoutered prob:( when establishing homegroup says I should enable Ipv6 Ive enebled it by right cliking on the net connection icon but still I could go through it

5) Somehow I was enable to access the net and manage to workfine with utorrent 1.6.1

6)but in utorrent 1.8.3 in the tracker tab it says

Proxy connect error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused

Hmm ya but I'll take it as last resort since they havent active forum like this :(

I think the same bro

But is there any possibility that 1.6.1 working without IPv6 ?

And is there any way to controll Upload and Download limits of 1.6.1 freely without attach them eachother ? :(

Then it'll be the solution for my prob
