terkiey Posted July 17, 2009 Report Share Posted July 17, 2009 utorrent was downloading until, i almost done the download.then it started uploading,the uploading continued when it had done, 5.45 GB out of 4.63 GB .so why does it keep uploading more than needed? Switeck Posted July 17, 2009 Report Share Posted July 17, 2009 Because it's uploading what you have to MULTIPLE other people...so it uploads some parts more than once. Given long enough, it may upload more than 10 times its size if enough people try to download it. You can view/use a downloaded file without stopping that torrent in uTorrent, so long as the way you're using/viewing it doesn't change the file.
