Windows 7 issues after uTorrent has been running for a while

I am having an issue where uTorrent stops downloading/uploading after it's been running for a while. It seems that it can't make any connections to new peers, as some torrents continue to upload/download, but after this happens, new torrents will not connect to any peers to download and I am unable to seed old torrents to new peers.

For example:

I restart my computer

I start uTorrent with 10 torrents (Everything works perfectly)

I add 3 new torrents. (Everything works perfectly)

I am uploading at about 100KB/s on all of my seeds

*3-24 hours pass*

I am only uploading at about 10-20KB/s

I add 3 new torrents. (These torrents show 0 (1000) seeds, and will not connect to anybody)

The only remedy for this is to KILL uTorrent's process because it will *NOT* shut down correctly by exiting the program. I have closed uTorrent and let my computer sit all night while I slept. When I woke up, the process was still running.

I am not sure if this is a problem with Windows 7, but it's only started since I've been running that OS.

I am running Windows 7 on a decent computer with Windows Firewall disabled.

I have a nice router running DD-WRT firmware.

I have a green (good) connection on any port I use

I noticed a difference in working torrents and newly added/not working torrents

Working torrents say that Tracker Status is "scrape ok" while new torrents and others stay at "working" indefinitely.
