Seed non finished torrent

In my case it's usefull option.

Sometimes I'd like to stop download and seed only without downloading till end (with uTorrent sending message to Tracker that i've got finished torrent which I was downloading)

To do that, use Seed-only scheduler mode, or set torrent's file/s to "don't download".

Well, it's a little problematic

I can't use "don't download" option, because i've got 70% of torrent (and almost every files got ~70%) - I resign from downloading it till end

Tracker where I was downloading that files got "time calculator" which starts only when i'm seeding file (uT is downloading only, no seed only option)

Seed-only scheduler mode it's cool, but i'm downloading few other torrents and I can't use it always (this option stops that files I was downloading)

uTorrent only reports itself as a seed when you have 100% of all pieces.

Anything else is a violation of protocol.

I was hoping that the gods of uTorrent (developers ) could do something with it and create option seed only.

But now I think, I was wrong

So my only chance to seed it 48h is download torrent till end and than seed it

Well I guess a "Stop but continue sharing" option isn't against violation, it's the equivalent of changing your download rate to 1KiB/s, it could be a neat feature for people who are close to the banned ratio rules on private trackers

Setting a torrent's file/s to "don't download" allows even the "don't download" files to be uploaded.
