Memory leak?

I tend to leave my computer on for weeks on end. Although, I've been noticing that after 2-3 days, uTorrents memory usage gets up to a 1+gig and spikes between 10-30% CPU usage. Is this normal, or is there something I can do to fix it--other than reinstalling?

Granted, I can just close and reopen the program and everything's good as new (though it runs slow for a couple minutes).

I don't know if it's relevant, but I'll list my computer specs.

geforce 9800GTX+

core2duo E6750 2.66ghz

4gigs DDR2 ram (forget what speed)

nforce 680i mobo

Windows XP pro (aka, less-than 3gigs of my 4 register. wtb windows7)

p.s. uTorrent is, at almost all times, downloading and/or uploading something.

What's the uT version?

And post Hijackthis and Process Explorer logs when uT is running.

Select utorrent.exe and enable DLL mode (ctrl+d) in PE.

Version is 1.8.3. I notice now that 1.8.4 is available on the website, but when I told uTorrent to check for updates it didn't find any. o.O
