Ultima
Did you try restarting it? And if not, delete the settings.dat and settings.dat.old in %appdata%\utorrent.

Lucifer
Maybe you can try inserting a new set of icons - http://www.utorrent.com/skins.phpPut the file in the same folder as setting.dat
facat
ok.i know why.the file utorrent.exe mustn't be placed in the folder that has the string 'utorrent' in the folder name.Such as 'My utorrent'.i have renamed the folder,so it's been solved. Falcon4
Does any path underneath it have foreign (non-ASCII) characters in it? Well, I can't type any, so I can't really give an example... Like C:\{something meaning "users"}\username\(something meaning "desktop"}\uTorrent?It could be that it can't wade its way through the filesystem to get to its own icons... lol, it's a long shot, but it's a guess. chaosblade
Must be the locale of the system. I have had uTorrent sit in the ordinary c:\program files\uTorrent\ folder for every release since v1.1 so its not a bug or something.
