Switeck Posted November 13, 2009 Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 uTorrent advertises your ip+port to the tracker and other peers/seeds via direct connections, DHT, Local Peer Discovery, and Peer Exchange.Even if you completely blocked "hostile" ip addresses, they can still get your ip address from the tracker...and from other peers/seeds!
