killcycle
Im tired of uploading Torrents using my limited connection to Peers that don't even upload back!If the ability to remove peers from your upload list were allowed then it would encourage them to seed back. Some of these guys have downloaded over 1gb of data in total from me and have uploaded nothing, why must I be required to keep uploading to them?Imagine how fast torrents would download if they knew they had to seed in order to leech. Switeck
If you really insist on banning peers, uTorrent does have ipfilter.dat ip range banlist.Peers will refuse to upload to you if your upload speed to them is really slow or intermittent, so keep your average upload speed per upload slot at least 3 KB/sec...but best to keep it below 10 KB/sec while downloading unless you have a fast internet connection. DreadWingKnight
Just because they don't upload to you, it doesn't mean they don't upload at all.
Switeck
Do check your peerlist for peers you've downloaded a lot from but uploaded little or nothing. You may be guilty of the same thing you hate...
