uTorrent makes my laptop freeze..running Windows 7

Only recently have I had the problem that when I run uTorrent, after a while the screen will freeze and I have to force a restart. I'm running Windows 7, and my HJT log is posted below, if it of any help:

hello,

i have the same problem, freeze and crash...

is it possible that to many pairs connecting can causing pc's crash ?

i have a another problem: the verification of the torrents causing crash too...

i'm using smart security who's knowing to cause problems... but even if i disable fire wall and protection the pc freeze...

just to say that i have edit a hijackthis log on a another website... it's seems that i don't have malware or whatelse...
