logisticky
OK, I am using utorrent 1.8.5 and the latest webuiI am using the same utorrent port for downloads and webuiI can log on to webui on the utorrent machine using 127.0.0.1:port/gui/I have the port open and a green check from utorrent that it is openHowever, when I go on to another machine on the same router I cannot get to this machine using IP:port/gui/ where IP is the external IP assigned for my router Thanks,G
DreadWingKnight
That's a restriction caused by the router actually. Try with the internal IP or try from a different internet connection.
logisticky
Yup - that did the trick - just used the internal IP.That was easy - thanks - pretty sure the external will work now. Thanks

chrissbu
I'm having a similar issue...Except I can connect to the uTorrent machine, but I keep getting a blank page now. I've refreshed the browser, wiped the cache, etc...The uTorrent machine is on Windows Home Server, and the WebUI comes up fine on the local machine. I've tried using both the server name and direct IP address (internal), and still get the blank page of doom. Any suggestions?
Lord Alderaan
Updating to the latest version of µTorrent solves the blank page issue.
chrissbu
I am on the newest version (I just installed Friday). Everything worked fine yesterday, then quit working yesterday afternoon.
Lord Alderaan
Hmmz, running any software firewalls or other apps (proxies etc) that might be interfering.
chrissbu
Sorry for the delayed response. It's only from my main home PC that I can't access the WHS running uTorrent. I can even access it from a computer outside of my home network. If I loop outside of my network from my main pc (use my actual IP address outside of my router), I'm able to get in. But if I use the local name or local IP, I'm still getting a blank page in Firefox and an error in IE.So something odd is happening via my internal network
