GCRaistlin
I experience this issue several times so I believe it is a bug.I'm registered on two torrent trackers. I found that there are a torrent on 1st tracker and a torrent on 2nd tracker that are really about the same DVD, but 2nd tracker's torrent includes cover scans as well. Okay, I downloaded that DVD from 1st tracker. Now I want to become a seeder on 2nd tracker, too - supposing that all I need to download additionally is cover scans. I'm adding a torrent from 2nd tracker, making a re-check - and what I see (I pressed Pause to cancel Re-check so don't pay attention to "red bands" that follows "blue bands"):All files in Covers folder are missed, so their "redness" is true - but following files:VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.BUPVIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFOVIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.VOBVIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUPVIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.IFOVIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.VOBare present and are byte-to-byte identical to files from 2nd tracker's torrent. It was simple to check that they're identical: after redownloading of all missed files I've replaced new files with old ones, and re-check showed all files is OK. DreadWingKnight
Cross-file pieces. Nothing can be done about it. Protocol level.
Firon
BitTorrent works with pieces, not files. Pieces are shared across files, so this happens when part of the piece is missing.
