silent.killer.21
I wasn't downloading anything. Seeding three torrents. Their download speeds seem to be maybe 2 or 3 KB/s. Why is there a need to download anything when the torrent is completely finished? In the bottom bar, I can see uploaded at around 2.5GB. But downloaded is around 100MB, although I have only been seeding.
shirleyanneruss
yes, i get the same thing but perhaps it is just the nature of the connection bleeding across, i would really like to know the technicalities though, am awaiting a reply as you all are. i have noticed though that if you actually stop some of the uploadings and not pause, this does have an effect on the downloaded figures
DreadWingKnight
I would like to know why both of you completely ignored the FAQ on this topic.
Switeck
BitTorrent uses 2-way connections. The other side sends requests for you, you see that as download...then you upload back to them pieces of the torrents they requested.DHT is active unless disabled, and it uses about 0.5-8 KB/sec download.Even getting lots of incoming connection attempts costs a little download.
