mdhauke
Greetings,So far I love the new upgrade except for one thing. It cut (or it least show it has) my upload speed by about 20%. Before the upgrade it showed my upload speeds ~50 kB/s; after the upgrade it averages around ~35 kB/s. Anybody have any idea why this is? btw, my DL speeds are the same. So the change is only with the UL speeds. Thanks
Switeck
1st and 2nd links in my signature.uTorrent v2.0's uTP may not be working well with your networking.
mdhauke
Thanks! It was the uTP. Weird that didn't start being a problem until I installed 2.0. And actually my upload speeds are a few ticks higher then when it was before I had this problem. I used to average around 52 kB/s, now it is around 58. Switeck
uTorrent v1.8.x accepts uTP connections but doesn't make uTP connections outgoing by default.uTorrent v2.0 tries to make uTP connections outgoing in preference over regular TCP connections...and there's a couple bugs in it. (The bugs should be fixed soon!)
vand3537
@ mdhaukeso what did you do to fix it? I have the exact same problem.
rafi
I guess, that either - set pref->advanced->net.calc_overhead to false (thus see your payload speed, w/o overhead )OR:pref->bitTorrent->bandwidth management = unchecked and use only TCP for now.
