avatarl
How can I tweak the RSS entry number to retain more entries per feed (say 500) before starting to drop entries? There are times I check the RSS feeds late and the number of entries retained is such that sometimes I miss a lot of entries. Vuze's 500 default (which can be tweaked easily anyway) works for me so I was wondering if there's any advanced option for this. I tried searching around but I couldn't find anything.Gah, misspelled the post title /facepalm
DreadWingKnight
By having the rss feed give you more entries.
avatarl
You mean edit the link and add a clause for an entry limit or something, e.g. add |max=500 to the rss url?
DreadWingKnight
No. Get the site that's generating the feed to retain more entries.
avatarl
Ah, I got it. What you meant was "While at least another client can do that as well as practically any rss reader, uTorrent can't cache feeds at the moment. The only thing you could do is to tweak the site generating the feeds, but you obviously have to be the site admin to change its RSS generation scheme, so you basically can't do anything."That brings me to my other question. Are there any plans to add this tiny feature so I don't have to hack a site every time I'm displeased with how it generates feeds?
worm7st
Does anyone know if there has been any progress on the feed caching front? It's incredibly annoying for those feeds that only publish 15 torrents at a time.
