Huge torrent and no connections

Hi, i am having the following problem. I uploaded a torrent on a private tracker that i am a member at, and i have 60 leechers in swarm but 0 upload speed and of course 0 peers connected to.

Details:

Huge pack containing: 611GB of data and 2200 files inside.

.torrent file size is 3.25 MB made from 4MB pieces (allthow smaller pieces allow better seeding cant be used because they create a large torrent file that i cant upload on tracker).

The moment the first leecher connected to me i had my up speed maxxed. After a few hours, leechers increased and now no one is connected to me and i cant upload anymore.

Everything is allwright, firewall, port, connection settings, and strangely, from the same tracker i can dld/seed any other torrent perfeclty. I think the problem is with my torrent's size and piece components.

Can you help me in this matter? Do you have any ideea what may cause this problem?

Right-click on the torrent...advanced, and do both clear ban list and clear peer list.

I'm missing too many details about your settings, other torrents, or linespeed to begin to guess much else.

Hi, that didnt helped me. Here are my settings:

bandwidth: 50mbps rdsnet.ro

Note that with theese settings everything works fine. The 611 gb torrent has 156,489 pieces of 4mb each. I think that is the cause

The torent is made private.

Right now i have 80 leechers in swarm and none connected. ? Usualy, they connect perfect in other torrents. is there anything else you would like to know? I am desperate because i cannot seed it to them.

Port forwarded properly, and i and they are connected to tracker!

I am using an older version of utorrent 1.8.5 because it seems to work better than v2. Also i tried the latest version with same result.

For 1hour, one peer connected and i was uploading with almost 40mbps to him. After he finished, the torent was dead again.

Also i tried initial seeding and from 80 peers in swarm, 10 to 20 connected but none was able to downlod so i switched back to normal seeding.

Are you sure those "80 leechers in swarm and none connected" actually exist?

I don't know what sort of errors you're getting in uTorrent's Logger window/tab at bottom.

(Right-click in that window to enable logging of all but verbose stuff.)

You may have a software firewall screwing with things or an ISP turned hostile.

Isp is fine and i am using windows firewall only, where utorrent has both public and local exceptions. I also tried with firewall off but its the same thing.

Not all of the peers in swarm are real but 40-50 must be since they apear on tracker as leechers too. One leecher told me he downloaded 3GB and then it stopped.

I am not sure what are you talking about.

I will update to version 2.0.1 soon because now i have 6-7 peers connected, and i am uploading with approx 46mbps. I cant risk a disconect.

Some people said that when they enabled "initial seeding" they were able to connect to me with high speeds.

I think it is resolved. I upgraded to v2.0.1 as you mentioned and now i have 70-80% of the peers connected witch is normal. Thank you all for your support. I have no ideea how this problem would have benn solved without v2.0.1 of utorrent.

A small problem remains. My memory got up to 70% when uploading with max speed (50mbps). I have tried checking and unchecking the disk cache settings but still the same. I have 6GB ram, ddr3 and using windows 7 x64bits

Its really annoying when my computer works slow because of that. Can you point me in the right direction? Thx again.

Windows vista and 7's disk cache is stupid when it comes to torrent clients.

Enable both of the "Disable Windows' Caching of Disk" options.
