mikeloeven Posted July 20, 2010 Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 are you using a standard run of the mill link-sys router??. their firmware has known issues with high volumes of concurrent connections even if the bandwidth used is minimal. my internet connection has about 1.5 MBps down and 200k up that is only a fraction of the total bandwidth my router claims to provide to the local network and yet bit-torrent slows it down noticeably. buy any high grade gaming router and this will be less of a problem Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
