_Boss_
Hi,I have a problem. I'd like to use this superb tool at work, however company IT policy forbids to install freeware for personal non-commercial use as all the software installed on our machines is considered as being used for commercial purposes automatically. The question is: is it possible to get explicit approval or "license" to use uTorrent under the conditions described? rafi
if you ask me - it's best not to use P2P @work at all .
Ecwfrk
Yeah, if they forbid freeware, they almost certainly forbid P2P apps as well regardless of how they are licensed. Companies have enough problems with the BSA. I doubt they want to risk adding the RIAA or MPAA to that.

_Boss_
With all the respect, I was not asking what do you think about P2P usage or our company policy. I was simply asking, if there is a way how to get uTorrent properly licensed for commercial usage as I've described it.
