schnurlos
Use the ipfilter.dat function to do that http://www.utorrent.com/faq/misc#faq6 + http://www.utorrent.com/faq/misc#faq8
moogly
1/ Create the file ipfilter.dat in the folder %appdata%\utorrent and load it into µT (right click on Peers tab)2/ If the IP is dynamical, you can't.Just use ipfilter to block peers with Bitvomit clients or torrent poisoners. Tech-Chaos
Thanks moogly! I looked for the file and didn't find it. lol and thanks to all...I was sort hoping there was a right click option in peers, that would let me ban them. I hope uTorrent might add that feature in future builds, would be nice...
paintball9
It has been requested before and its probably no gonna happen. It can wreck a torrents swarm when people start banning for no good reason other than they wanna download faster.
moogly
Yep, automatic blocking is denied due to potential misuse.
Switeck
uTorrent already automatically blocks peers/seeds if they send too many bad pieces...that can even be configured as well, though the ratios hardly even make sense to me.
