Niks Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 Hi all. I want to ask that does the upload speed affects the download speed? I have set my Maximum Upload Rate to minimum, i.e., 1kbps. Will it affect my download speed somehow? I mean, is there anything like if I reduce my upload speed then my download speed will increase or vice versa??Nikhil. Switeck Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 Ever since BitTorrent's inception, we've recommended uploading about 75-90% of your connection's stable max upload speed. (I add the word "stable", because some ISPs give short-term burst speeds that should NOT be counted as stable or sustainable max speeds!) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
