i.blast
uTorrent a couple of months doesn't finish writing files on HDD. If I'm closing uTorrent then the process doesn't closing and I need to kill process through process manager. After that I'm opening uTorrent and it recounts hash and finishes downloading (1-2%) / finishes writing the remaining piece. How to solve this problem?uTorrent 3.3.1 beta (build 29525)Cache set to 1500 Mb, all cache options set to on.

DreadWingKnight
R/W operations aren't what kill platter hard drives. It's actually spin up/down operations that do it.

octopusnuts
I don't understand why uTorrent allows the user to set a value for the cache size that causes it to not function correctly.I've seen many posts telling people to reduce the cache, why even have this option when it causes so much trouble.
