If I have too many downloads it stops working

uTorrent works fine up until a point where there are an unknown amount of downloads going. Uploading still functions, but downloading does not. Although, upload speeds appear to be nerfed. The only way to rectify the situation that I know of is to remove and delete all your torrents and start from scratch.

Under the tracking status for most say working, but some give me errors like, "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it utorrent."

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks.

Don't treat uTorrent as a workhorse

Remove them because they won't exist anymore

But that's what a computer is. :P

But they do exist. When I delete all the torrents, I re-use the same exact torrent file and it works fine. Until the next time I get too many torrents in the history.

Your computer may be, the uTorrent application ISN'T (anymore).

I get too many torrents in the history.
I guess you can work out the cure for that for yourself!!!

The same trackers?

Actually the logical step is to reduce the load on uTorrent.

I had already tried that in my original post. It's a temporary work around not a permanent solution.

Go for 33129678 ... and my settings...

I'll check that out. It's kind of a hard gauge, as this issue only comes up once in a great while.

Thanks.
