What incoming & outgoing TCP & UDP ports must be opened?

Have set this port number open - incoming & outgoing.

This allows the DHT nodes to update and achieve a good total.

BUT, no seeds can be seen at all.

The only way to get seeds is to open the "Allow" outgoing tab - which permits all traffic to pass through out.

So, some more port(s) outgoing would seem to need opening, to make things work properly.

Any ideas on which port numbers & protocols these might be?

Thanks again for your interest & advice.

No only ONE port requires NAT Mapping to an internal IP.

Outgoing port numbers are assigned "on the fly" from the 'ephemeral' port range and do not need to be port mapped through the router.

It doesn't really matter what the device is, the principle is the same, only listening ports are known and can be allowed/forwarded for or to specific IP.

If the firewall isn't pre-configured for outgoing allowed on the ephemeral/private ports create a rule that opens a port range of 1025 - 5000 for all protocols. BUT if you can browse HTTP/HTTPS website, send and receive email over POP3, SMTP, or IMAP they already are because browsers and email clients use the same port range for sending requests to servers that are listening on port 80, 443, 110, 25, 993, 465, 585, 993, 587, 143 and 995. (Alternative SMTP and secure protocols included)

[edit to add]

If you want to see what outgoing ports are in use AND the listen port they are going to, that are being used at any point in time, open a command prompt and type in;

netstat -a
