Magnet DL issue

Been using U torrent for a while. Today I had an issues with Firefox and now when I try to dl a file , a magnet it says " U Torrent not available" Any Ideas?

Check that uT is associated with magnets (pref->general).

Thanks for the speedy reply... tried to do that but when I clicked on that box in ut preferences it went " darker" and died. How do I get to associate it with magnet files then?

I want to try adding to my current registry file of

@="\"C:\\Program Files\\uTorrent\\uTorrent.exe\" ( this exists now)

this \"%1\""

That % is that the percent key? and the "" quotation marks?

Yes I admit I'm not very techie but I hate messing with the registry and " better ask before I leap"

%1 is to indicate the first parameter in the command line and it it is Shift+5 on a standard keyboard.

The quote marks " (Shift+2) are required to delimit any spaces in the passed parameter values or in the path, because spaces seperate the parameter sets
