azeotrope Posted October 25, 2013 Report Share Posted October 25, 2013 Hi,I recently got a new computer and I can't figure out for the life of me how to seed torrents that I downloaded on my old computer.I've done everything specified in this thread:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=104967and I still can't figure it out. I have all the torrent files and data files. However, after I add the torrent to utorrent, pressing start results in a 'finding peers' message and pressing force recheck doesn't do anything at all. Both the data files and the torrent file are in the directory that comes up when I select Open Containing Folder on the dropdown menu from the added torrent. I've selected this same directory (under preferences) as the location from which to load/store/download torrents. I've tried unchecking 'start torrent' before adding and then force rechecking as someone suggested, but to no avail.I feel like I'm missing something very obvious here.
