How come utorrent only needs one port? / Flags

These flags good or bad? I understand Capital letters are better?

Is there anything I can do about it? is it me choking or the person im downloading from?

not all, just some need it. I know azureus uses one port. It just handles connections differently.

u only need 1 port open. Just the way i like it, i hate opening ranges in my router.

But I'm using port 1412 as it was already open.

It still only needs one port. It doesn't just randomly use ports all the time.

maybe it uses random ports in the sense of "2 ports", "44 ports", "387 ports", that would be random isn't it?

I believe it just uses a random number at startup and uses that port for that entire instance of uTorrent till it restarts.

No idea what the flags mean I am afraid though. Try searching the forums.

µTorrent currently does not need UDP. Just needs TCP. However, this is subject to change.

i dont like the idea of programs being able to automatically open ports in my router so i keep uPnP disabled in my router settings. I also dont like opening ranges as it provides more of a security risk.
