    Build 29677 from the official site can not be downloaded.

    3.3.0.29677 downloads for me.

    Try emptying your temporary internet files folder (Internet Explorer) or clearing cached web content (Firefox). It'll be a similar method for other browsers.

    Although I've been running 3.3.2 beta for a few days now (which shows a visible tray icon), I just tried installing 3.3.1.29801 just for fun, and it still has the invis-tray icon. Why is this so difficult to fix?

    It's still not fixed in 3.3.1.29812 (although it is showing in 3.3.2.29806 beta).

    Check and see if you have anything in the Boss-Key: field, because if you do, that's the way to make uTorrent "invisible". I use it a lot. You can find it under Preferences -> General on the left towards the bottom.

    It's only the tray icon that's invisible. It's occupying a space. I can see the details when I hover cursor over it.

    (I've never used Boss Key. It says None and always has. The box is unchecked.

    uTorrents settings are always left alone now that I have them as I want them).

    Something has slightly broken in the recent builds hence the invisi-tray icon. It was "fixed" in the 3.3.2 release.

    uTorrent invisi-tray icon hasn't been fixed in 3.3.1.29782. (using Windows XP SP3). PLEASE FIX.

    The last build it was working was 3.3.1.29756.

    (The invis-icon is also present in 3.4.0.29785 alpha too.

    The tray icon IS showing in 3.3.0.29677).

    Going forward to 7/8 is also an option... ;)

    ...especially if you have the money to afford one :(

    A bit extreme though. I'm sure the next build will fix the invisi-icon. Apart from that minor annoyance, the current build works on XP fine :D

    Is Pref->UI->always show tray icon - checked ?

    The icon is occupying a space but invisible. I can hover cursor over space and see the details (i.e. downloading, seeding, down , up).

    (Gone back to 29756 and it's showing itself).

    pause button removed in utorrent 3.4 alpha build 29741

    --2013-03-12: Version 3.4 (build 29315)

    - Change: removed pause-button from toolbar (it's still in the context menu if you need it)

    Consider this post a request to reinstate the button before this branch moves to release stage.

    +1. Removing it was bonkers. Who's harebrained idea was that?!!

    I see no reason why is has been removed for 3.4 whilst it's been happily sitting there since like forever.

    Why not go the whole hog and remove all the buttons and do everything via context menus?
