I've made sure the network drive is not read only, set all permissions to full control. Router is brand new: Netgear nighthawk r8000 WD 2TB drive connected via usb3.0 Tried this on Mac OS El Capitan and Win 10. Have formatted the drive numerous times with NTFS, exFat, MacOS Journaled and FAT32. I receive this error message about 15 minutes in. Anyone have any suggestions?
DreadWingKnight Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 The problem is caused by the SMB code in the network drive. It's one of the MANY reasons we don't recommend directly torrenting to a nas from a computer.
