µBar v5

Hi guys

its been a while since I made a toolbar so I decided to continue the µBar project

Here is a look @ the µBar v5 (RC) :

Please post your thoughts on it as this wil help me understand people's likes/dislikes and will contribute to better versions of the µBar series

Welcome back! Those are excellently clean looking icons, I must say =o

Though um, there's a lapse in consistency between the up/down arrows and the other buttons.

Nice set! I think the remove button shoud be similar in design to the start pause and stop button. Like the add torrent button maybe?

it was yesterday when i said: "damn people stopped making skins.. i want to change mine, but i dont find suitable"

i havent seen this, but considering ubar 1, 2, 3, 4 that will be cool

While I consider the 'add url', 'new torrent', rss, preferences and search icons to be an improvement over v4, I must say that I feel the other icons have lost that special something that made µBar it's original and great self.

My €0.02 of course.

the play, pause and stop icons are too pale

I like the three leftmost icons, the Search icon, and maybe the Prefs icon; The rest are so-so. The Remove icon kinda sticks out.

Always good to see a new theme though

RC4 is the latest modification I have made after trying out various things. Let me know what you think

RC3 with RC4's stop icon is cool (and maybe the delete icon from RC4 too)

the play icon should preserve it's default green color , the pause button should be yellow/orange

i dont like that shutdown stop icon in RC2 and RC3

i prefer the wheel to that book for the settings

u can make RC3's pause button more orange but not as orange as that in RC4

i kinda prefer RC3's play button.. this one is really thin, and the play button is a major one

the arrows are pretty dark compared to the rest..

and the RSS icon is too flat, while the others look more embossed

All the other are very straight, robust, very basic shapes, while the delete icon is more of a slouchy, swirvy, hanging about kind of icon (yes, I'm having a hard time explaining ).

Other than that, very nice, worhty partner to µBar v4.

Agreed. Additionally, the colors for the first 4 buttons are so much more vibrant than the rest of 'em, so maybe you can... (I guess) saturate the other buttons?

Oh, and I've discovered that I prefer the play button style from post #3 over the one from RC6 .
