Flags

@Catxalot

Please open this file from the post #1 (in your web browser e.g.) and search all the 5 domains you posted previously and you will see they ARE all added.

Read the manual to use flags.conf, reboot µT and verify flags.conf is not corrupt in %appdata%\utorrent.

And we add only domain (e.g: site.com), not subdomain (e.g. blabla.site.com).

@ moogly

Thank you very much for your help.

You're right. It really is an X-File.

I do everything correctly, I think.

But I have to add rima-tde.net, to see the correct flag and not the United States.

Already since rima-tde.net but if not I add does not work.

And others feel the same.

Why?

Sorry, if there were orthographic errors, and I use google translator.

Saludos

Maybe...

peer.resolve_country: Enabling this option tells µTorrent to use an Internet database of IP addresses (a DNSBL) to determine a peer's country. Even if the settings directory contains flags.conf and flags.bmp, this option will take precedence, and the internal flag images will be used instead.

This parameter I have it configured correctly. Everything that occurred to me, setting the peer.resolve_country: = true, I did a restart μT, I put back peer.resolve_country: = false, I made a new restart μT, but unfortunately the same error.

I suspect the problem is because I have all μT configuration files in the directory C:\Program Files\μTorrent

Whenever you install a new version, look for the directory that is created in% appdata%\utorrent, move the files in that folder into the directory C:\Program Files\μTorrent, and delete the folder% appdata%\utorrent

I do always and never had problems.

As if it was not clear, I only fail flags on the 4 entries that I put above.

But the funny thing is that if I edit the file flags.conf and add one of the four missing, the repeat, and then if that works.

Strange, no?

Why are you saving files from %appdata%\utorrent in %ProgramFiles%\uTorrent?

It's really a BAD idea because %ProgramFiles% is protected against read-write access. And you need to be admin (+ UAC).

If you want do that, use µT as standalone but outside %ProgramFiles%\.
