Discobanan
I've never had any problem with µTorrent until today. Wikipedia have a 213Gb large file available for download via bittorrent. The .torrent-file is 18Mb and when i try to open it µTorrent says:Unable to load "enwiki-allimages-20070402.tar.torrent": Not enough storage is available to process this command.!After that message pops up and i press ok, nothing happens. The torrent isn't added to the list, and nothing is downloaded. I'm not even getting the dialog to choose where on my disks to put the downloaded files. The .torrent-file is available to download from this location:ftp://www.wikigadugi.org/wiki/torrents/I'm running Vista on a machine with 2Gb ram, if that has anything to do with it. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Lord Alderaan
Is there still room on your c: drive? Any other partition almost full?
DreadWingKnight
a 18mb .torrent file isn't exactly something I would want to try to load. Why is it not a tarball? What is the piece size? Why are they trying to torrent 213GB of files in one torrent? Lord Alderaan
I tried loading the file too and got the same (localized) error. I guess µtorrent can't handle such big files. But I agree with DWK here that 18MB for a torrent file is excessive.
Discobanan
It sure is a bit excessive. I installed the BT-client available from www.bittorrent.com, and it didn't have any problem with the large file, so i guess i've found a bug in µtorrent However, the wikipedia tracker is down, so it was all for nothing anyway.. Smoovious
not really a bug. it probably uses 32bit pieces and uTorrent still uses 16bit pieces...I understand it is already on the to-do list tho-- Smoovious
