00
Don't know if this is a bug or a feature.Choosing the Preferences menu item opens the Settings dialog for the Options.
1c3d0g
I don't get what you mean...it's perfectly logical... :|
FordP929
I see what he is saying. When you go to the options menu item (in the filemenu bar), select preferences you would expect to get a prefernces dialouge. But the case is that you get options rather than preferences. I agree with the original poster, consistency in UI is key.
chaosblade
'Options' Should really be 'View' .. and perheps Prefernces moved to 'File' or such.
1c3d0g
I still think it's logical, but oh well...
FordP929
'Options' Should really be 'View' .. and perheps Prefernces moved to 'File' or such.I agree with chaosblade with the above as well. But i think preferences should stay in "View" it just should have a consitent UI. So if its the 'Preferences' you click it should show the 'Preferences' dialouge. splintax
I semi-agree. 'Options' should remain 'options' - just 'settings' should change to 'preferences'.
